Lirey originates from a glitch when a girl, coincidentaly named RIley, tested the portal, causing a malfunction due to the portal being infected with a virus. RIley survived, but then, Lirey came out of the portal, thus, Lirey was born. Lirey is basically a phantom-ish clone or Riley, with her clothes having inverted colors, her eyes similar to Nightmare's, and black hair. She mostly hangs around haunted places due to her phantom-like nature. She is known to have a Nightmarish version which is said to be more powerful than her normal self.

Lirey is not actually a combat-like person, she just appears to protect innocents around her. Due to her being a phantom, projectiles simply go through her, yes, even the most OP of projectiles cant hurt her. But it has a 75% chance of not going through her. She caouses hallucinations of threatend, so horrible, it might drive people into insanity. She is rumored to also healed even the most injured of people and bring people back to life, but alas, they were both just myths.
